France in Korea by Paris Croissant

Hi everyone !!
Do you know that France is really famous here in Asian countries?
Japanese people, Korean people are always trying to call their shops with French names...
but actually, it is not really good French, right?!

For example, on school stationery, there is so much words or sentences that look like French but it is NOT French of course. Korean (and Japanese) are the best to make mistakes on French sentences! xD Badder than Konglish (mix between English and Korean... horrible for me =__=)

I will give you an example :

"Neige tête
Quand je pense a toi
Gâce à toi,
J'ai la continuellement comme ça"

I can't translate it, it doesn't mean anything xDDDDDDDDD

If I chocked some of you, I am really sorry for disturbing you xDDDDDDD
IT IS KORENCH !!! (Korean/French)
___________________________________________________________

Then, near to Ewha Womans University (my university xD), there is a lot of bakery or coffee shops. There you can eat so much kinds of French bakeries... but...
for example, you, French guys, did you ever eat a croissant with cheese or vanilla cream? No !!! damn thing !! Croissant, we eat it alone ! Ya Rabi...
Yeah! Those shops are always called like "Paris Croissant" or "Paris Baguette". There is also "Le Chocolatier". I went already to Paris Croissant... it is not like any regular bakery in France. There is so much stuff.. with cream, chocolate cream, red bean, green tea ! xD
Oh my God, green tea cake ! BEUARK !!!

Anyway ! In those bakeries, you can find really various breads, good croissants, delicious forêt noire or wonderful cakes that you will never see in France ! Yeah, that's it ! Cakes are good to look only... there is a lot of colours, decorations... Just look that picture ! It is pretty ha!? But is it really tasty? it looks really creaaaaamyyyyyyyyy ! @_________@

I think that's enough for now... about Korean madness xD
haha but I do love that country !!! >______<

Everytime, everday, everybody is a survivor
Looking for everywhere, in this case, don’t give up

Find the light and get up from here,
Let’s try to change this moment to a chance together,
Oh baby let’s try!

If you found the one smile in your heart, shine on me,
If you added the two smile, shine on me,
Smile, smile so this world can illuminate,
The survivor that lives on

If you are with me, it’s not so bad if I have to turn around,
Remember the precious thing you almost forgot

Even the things you can’t accomplish alone,
If we start to gather our hearts, we can,
Oh baby we can!

Somewhere, one dream, some day, still on,
Two dream, the brand new world that starts to move,
Dream, dream as if you love someone
Embracing each other

One love in your heart makes tomorrow so easy,
If you can link it with two love,
Love, love as if you believe in yourself,
The survivor that lives on

Everybody is a survivor,
Together we are survivors,
Everybody, everybody night

If you found the one smile in your heart, shine on me,
If you added the two smile, shine on me,
Smile, smile so this world can illuminate,
Let’s embrace each other and live on

One love in your heart makes tomorrow so easy,
If you can link it with two love,
Love, love as if you believe in yourself,
The survivor that lives on

1st Day with Stéphanie and the "찜닭"

Until 3PM, we were just admirating our new home. We took pictures, then we had lunch. I forgot what we get… =_____=

3:15PM we left the guesthouse to meet Stéphanie in a place called 강남[Kangnam]. It was so far from our place xD maybe it took like 45 minutes from 홍대 [Hongdae] (홍익 대학교=> Université de Hongik).

Well, of course, every Korean we met in the street was observing us but we wanted to enjoy time so we were staring at them too. [my God, I am not good in English, sorry people !! Sorry xD)

At Gangnam, we finally met Stéphanie. We hadn’t seen her since her leaving last year on January. She changed a lot, lose so much weight ! She is prettier ;)

Anyway, we had a walk in Gangnam streets enlightened by hundreds stores boards. Finally Stéphanie took us to a nice restaurant, I do forget the name sorry…

There, we get a tasty lunch : 찜닭 [Jjim dak]. But really spicy ! xD I could not really feel the taste but that’s okay, I tasted it another time ;)

Well찜닭 is a big dish full of chicken pieces, noodles, vegetables, in a reeeed hot spice sauce lol

You have to eat in the same plate with your friends, thing that we can’t do in France. Only at home haha, in arabic families. But I like it, that kind of meal is convivial.

Then we had a walk looking for a 스티커 사진[stickers sajin] shop. I will explain that Asian wonder in a new article very soon ! See ya !!!

"하숙집은 뭘까?"

여러분 안녕하세요 ?

Friday February 20th at 10am, we left Sun’s guesthouse « StayKorea » to go to her sister-in-law’s « Annguesthouse ».

In the beginning, we didn’t want to move from our place, especially we had to take our biiiig packages xD

But well, we arrived in the guesthouse, it made us hallucinating.

It was really great : modern, clean, it looked nice. Besides, we were just 4 in the beginning : Syham my turu turu, Nanami a Japanese young woman, Pierre-Jean, a Starcraft French player and me.

Apparently, the guesthouse was brand new. We were barely just settling and there was the fridge delivery. ^^ The owner was really nice but she was only speaking Korean so no way to communicate in English. But it was good for us because all of us are studying Korean language.

하숙집 / Guesthouse ?

Like the title shows it, a guesthouse is one’s home that you can rent according to your wishes. The guesthouse owner decides of the amount about one night. From that moment, you have an access to all facilities in the house or in the apartment.

I took some pics of the second guesthouse, Annguesthouse, because I really loved it.

First, even if the 1st guesthouse was a big house, I prefered the second one, because it was in a great building, near to Hongik gate number 1. To reach to the guesthouse, we needed a access code. Indeed, in Korea, doors are most of time fitted with modern and in same time simple locking mechanism. So, you can’t forget your keys at home, it is safe ! ^^

Then, as soon as you enter in the guesthouse, you have to take off your shoes. There is a little space especially for that case. You just take off your shoes or your sneakers and you put slippers on. It is the same custom in Egypt but there is not small space to take off your shoes.

What can we find in Annguesthouse ?

A well-fitted kitchen, a korean bathroom, with the sink, shower and the lavatory bowl, there is also wireless internet, a computer with internet, 6 bunk beds, and in the mezzanine, 3 or 4 mattresses.

The breakfast is also given : the owner bought bread, butter, apple or strawberry jam, coffee packets, tea bags, sugar and milk powder.

About water in Korea, it is the same everywhere : everyone has his cistern with 2 taps in it, one for cold water, the other one for hot water. And that’s really handy, when you wanna have a coffee, a tea or a hot chocolate, you win time and you don’t burn your tongue !!

Then, the owner takes care of cleaning stuff and so on, however, we can't leave our used dishes in the sink, it is natural right ? The, sometimes, she just asks if we have dirty linen.

What else about guesthouse ? I think that’s all ^^

AH YES ! In that guesthouse, the tenants are completely free, the owner does not live with the tenants so we can just share good moments together without disturbing the owner. But that point depends on each guesthouse.

Here was my article about guesthouse. If I have something to add, I will inform you !

Hereupon, I will study for my last exam tomorrow !

See you !!!
